You Don't Need Another Diet
When you’ve been dieting for a long time, it’s easy to think that you just need to find another diet, or you just need to do it more perfectly.
But it’s only once I started asking myself ‘why hasn’t this worked yet?’ that I finally found long-lasting success.
You don’t need another diet, you don’t need more willpower, you don’t need more self-control.
But you might need to make your meals more satisfying so you don’t end up feeling like a bottomless pit all day.
You might need to eat more so you don’t end up binging later.
You might need to be a bit more accepting of yourself rather than beat yourself up all the time so you don’t need food to comfort yourself from your own self-talk.
Or maybe you need to recognise that food is providing you a much needed escape from other things in your life, and that it’s not the food thing you need to address, but it’s the life thing.
